I removed the 235 and transmission from my 55 task force 3100 and installed a rebuilt 1969 chevelle 307v8 with attached Saginaw 3 speed transmission. Can anybody tell me where to find the clutch linkage needed to get this to work and I also need the shift kit assembly for a floor mount for the Saginaw 3 speed.
I also would like to keep the floor starter pedal for starting. Somewhere I read in the past year someone converted to a newer engine and kept it. Anyone know who it was so I could get some advice. Thanks much Jim S

All of the other stock clutch linkage remains the same as well. Stock replacement linkage components are available from a number of aftermarket suppliers, Truck Shop, Brothers, etc. Floor shift conversion kits are available on craigs list and ebay as well. I made a plate for the floor starter to leave it in the same location. It doesn't do anything but looks original. Fred

It's been awhile since I removed it and looking at the clutch fork and location, I didn't think it would work. Fred, I was going to do that with the starter as a last resort.
