I know it just was st paddys day but... my old truck has a miss and thought it may be water in the gas so i drained some into a glass jar to look at and it was green !! Smells old no water sep,I had put stabil additive in it recently.It has rec 90 gas which is suppost to be low alcohol . Any thoughts? As for the miss plugs look good , not backfiring just seems low on power and has a stutter from 900 to 2500 rpm. idles ok.
Are you sure it's not diesel? That has a slight green tinge to it.

don't think its diesel. Had some rec90 in a can that's new it looks clear, put a few drops of stabil in still clear. ? could old gas be growing a mold?
Sounds like old gas to me. Always turns green. If fuel level is low enough, you might be able to add enough new gas to burn through it. Otherwise, siphon/drain it.

Not being irish didn't know it had passed , could be old gas. gona drain the tank this week and see what that does. looked/smelled some reg gas e85 and the diesel for the tractor both are clear and smell like they should. when I say green I am talkin lime jello green not just a tint.
If you lived here and the gas was purple, I would say you used the pump that's for boats and farms. Purple gas is not for highway use - no road tax paid.
Gas is prob 6 mo old. all lines are aluminum. looks like rad fluid but still burns. put the old gas in the lawn mower and it did fine. gona get the rest out this w.e. and use new gas. hope the stutter goes away.
