I am wondering if i can use my S10 4x4 frame keeping it 4x4 without moving the engine back . Has anyone tried this? looking at radiator location .

I have seen it done with a longbed 2 wheel drive s-10 chassis. There is enough room between the back of the V6 and the firewall to store 2 suitcases.
Looked silly to me.

You have a lot of engine to radiator clearance if a V8. Picture of a 52 3100 on an S10 2wd frame. Room enough for a school chair between engine and radiator. Second picture shows rear of engine to firewall clearance.
