hi,yall get ready to work on my 63 new engine. does it really pay to get the engine balance, found a engine shop that will do it for around $150.00 is that a good price? the engine in question is bored 155 over with 327 10 to 1 flat top piston. a 530 lift cam, 650 dp holley and dual point dis and headers.

1969 K20 , with a '67 front clip. fleetside. 292, 3x1 offy, headers. sm465 4spd. getting put back together, almost ready for paint.
doing it all myself.

Mine was a stock rebuild and I had them balance it. Can I tell a difference? No, but I'm not running it hard. While it's there and only $150? Do it and don't worry about. Doing it later is expensive.
