I'm asking the Chevy Truck community to help me out. I'm in the process of reconnecting all the linkages to my 48 Chevy Truck 216 six cylinder Carter W1 Carburetor. It appears that the throttle linkage and spring are all connected correctly. I've installed the choke cable but it appears that I'm missing something in regards to parts to connect my throttle cable up? I appreciate any help that you could provide.

You can get the wire stops at any place selling lawn mower parts.

Thanks Tiny and Joe H. You've solved my problem. It looks like all I need is a simple L- Bracket to go on the top of my Throttle Linkage and a Cable Stop which I can easily purchase. Your help in much appreciated in my continuing journey to get my 48 Chevy Stovebolt Engine Powered Truck back on the road! Happy New Year!!!
Hey Tiny, can I trouble you for that Pic for your 38 216 throttle body cable linkage. I currently have a 1939 with a 216 and am in the process of putting everything back but seem to misplaced my pics. So i honestly don't know how the cables/linkages go on the truck. Nor do I have an idea of how the slave/master cylinder is set up. I am trying to finish this project at the shop for a customer but I am stuck. No matter how i try it, just doesn't make any sense to me.
