My 67 'burb is not a Cameo but the inside of the hood is mostly green (the original color of the front clip). I'm going to repaint it and am debating on whether to paint it white or satin black.

The inside hood color on my 1954 3604 was what I would call a satin black, towards the rear of each panel in faint orange lettering was the panel part number , right side 3701466 and the left was 3701465. I did my best to save the original lettering but managed to quickly "erase" them when prepping the panel. I do not know if that is correct for yours 1955 Cameo. I've attached pics of the before......
