I'm 6'3 and have a hard time lifting my feet up to get to the clutch and brake pedals. would like to maintain the original look of floor pedals but am considering hanging pedals. Also considering modifying the floor pedals. any thoughts or if someone has modify pedals (pictures)

I raised the seat on my '54 630, same cab, 1.5" and it really helped. Used two pieces of oak T and G each location.

Will try that as well, good thought but I would still like to possibly modify the pedals, I would think a combination of things will make it drivable. would like to see if anyone has modified the pedals to help....thanks! I have had a few back surgeries and don't have the best feeling in my legs and feet. I'm afraid if the brake pedal is too high I may contact the side and not the top of the pedal in a quick stop.

I have cut the shaft on several brake pedals on trucks that I have had. Remove pedal & shaft. Cut it right below the pedal. Cut out the amount of the shaft to get to the height of the clutch. Weld the pedal back on.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.
