A couple of these on my '41 need new seals and pulling the arm off looks difficult, little room to get anything behind it.

A mate pulled the arm and shaft out in one piece
He drilled a hole on the opposite side to the arm and pressed the hole peice out

I may try that later this winter. Being a cheapskate I'm hesitant to pay $185 per shock.
