Very good experience, make sure you order the truck ring and pinion and not he car version.

If that is the listing, the description is more extensive:
"New 3.55:1 ring & pinion gears for all 1940-1953 Chevy & GMC 1/2 ton trucks."

I was fortunate to find all NOS american made
bearings for the pinion, axle and carrier all on Ebay. If you want OEM smooth and quiet these gears are the answer. I too purchased all new pinion and diff bearings nos off ebay. Gear setup was straight forward, also a great time to install an okie bushing while it is all apart.
