I had been wanting a Fulton 800 for my 1949 half ton panel but just wasn't ready to pay what they are going for. Man they have really increased in price over the past 6 or 7 years. But I gave up and bought a pretty nice one and thought I would share a photo. It's just mocked up for the photo.

Good looking indeed! I'm kind of partial to Fultons myself. If you're wanting to keep the front edge as high as you're showing you'll need to fabricate a longer front brace rod. That's what we did on mine to avoid the sleepy sombrero look that most Fultons have. The back bracket will reach the divider bar but the front one won't. It's not difficult to fab one.

Love the Fultons. Here's mine temporarily set up on my cab (before I put the cab on the frame). I need to adjust the doors to get enough room at the top to mount it now.

I am currently digging back in to a 1953 3800 (one ton) with a nine foot bed. I've owned it since 1979, and drove it until 1982 (or so). My wife got me involved in restoring it back in 2002, got the body removed and the frame redone, then things came up. Now I am retired and starting again. If anyone is interested I have photos on Imagur ( https://timwhiteblues.imgur.com/ ). I live way back in the woods in the Ozarks on 40 acres at the end of a 2 1/2 mile private road.

Tim,
Looks like you mastered getting it up high enough. I have mine set at the highest adjustment on the dog bones, but mine don't look like it goes up as high under the drip rail as yours does.
Kevin, you'll need to massage the upper leg on the dogbone brackets to get it high enough. That's what we had to do to mine. The "correct" bracket for that body style has the upper leg farther down the bracket which raised the visor enough to allow enough air to pass through.
