Only place i had clearance issues was from the actual wheel offset. Was just rubbing the outer tie rod when turned. Some trimming and a spacer fixed that. My spare is a Dodge 3/4 ton 8 bolt rim and it clears the tie rods no problem. Mind you my truck is a 60's model and might have more clearance to start with .
