Visited with some of the patients and had lunch with them. The Guys up there really just enjoyed having someone to talk with.

Spent a good bit of the day taking care of a Marine Corps Wife (who spent a few years in the service of her Corps on the far side of the planet). Enjoyed all the texts that came in from my brother Leathernecks on our Birthday and on the 11th marking the day.
Several brothers and I noticed that we have passed the mark now where we have spent more time in the 1st CivDiv (as adults) than we spent on active duty ... Still feel more comfortable in the company of fellow Marines than with most civilians...

I mean for those members who have already made their intro's and the time and place/s they sacrificed for this country have already been disclosed in past posts. So, to chime in on Monday to me was a little odd. Case in point there was very little posted from other vets tied to this site. Not sure what else to say...maybe its just as well. Just to be thinking of those who gave their lives so others may live on this special day.
