If so, why not contact Holley and see if they carry what you need to complete the project? I would also contact Summit Racing and talk to a salesman, or if necessary, their tech line. That's exactly what I want to do with my truck. Although I'm sure my gas mileage will be horrible, it will give me the look and the torque that I need to haul loads over the continental divide, an hour from me.
To address the fuel mileage issue, I plan on getting a taller rear end with posi, and a Gear Vendors overdrive for my 4-speed. With all that, if I can get mid-teens or higher, I'd be happy.
What kind of mileage are you getting?

Gas mileage for him is a non-issue, but I will let you know how it does, he was running a 750 Holley. You might have to go to their tech line if a salesman is not helpful enough.
My neighbor has an old 4-71 supercharger. The lack of a good intake manifold prevents using it. But if my turbo idea on the straight six doesn't provide the torque I'm looking for, I may start looking at his 4-71.
Anyway, good luck. I want to see pics of the supercharged truck. And I"m interested in how well it clears the stock hood.

Fuel economy will be nil, takes a bunch just to prime it(Has Enderle injection). Power is awesome, whole truck rocks while revving. we hope to drive it tomorrow. Power is simply unreal, he can hardly keep it on the road. He wants to take it back to the track to see how well it does,(his best befroe was 10.23/108mph 1000ft) but its closed until NewYrs here. It turned out to be an 8/71, I thhnk it is at 4%overdriven. Has the birdcatcher setup, & belt-driven fuelpump. Brian | | |
