My tires are in rough shape but held air for the last 10 years sitting in a barn.

I have a '51 3600 currently with 7.00 x 15 tires.

I'm fine with keeping the original, but am interested in 17" tires. I see in the manual it looked like 15" were standard but 17" were an option. I'm not looking for the extra hauling capacity - though I might someday - just thinking that as long as I need new tires I'd like to go for more of the heavy work truck look. I don't anticipate driving long distances (> 20 miles) so I'm not concerned about the ride at this point.

I also read in an online book that the 17" tires came with an 8 leaf read configuration. I think there's currently 7. Again, not looking for carrying capacity, just a beefier look.

So... just looking for suggestions.
Thanks.
Rog
