Went to the morris beach car show and won traditional hot rod class. I left the hood closed all day then opened it around the last hour and people were all scratching their heads because they saw it drive in and looked at everything and assumed it was all pure stock.

I really like your truck and I think it's cool that others appreciated it too. I dig the natural finish and think it's great you had it out in the rain.
Congratulation, but on my 54 they think I have more engine than stock. When I travel I run at 60-65 and people come over to me at rest stops and want to know what I have under the hood. And young people ask what is under the hood and I tell them it is a Corvette engine block. Then show them what is in there and explain the original Corvette engine had this block with modifications.

Yup mines silent but will surprise most people when i can leave them sitting at a stoplight and i can hop on the highway and literally drive as fast as the gearing lets me. Has no problem going 65,70,75 with 1/8th throttle haha.
