I just picked up a 1991 RS Camaro to transplant the motor (305 with TBI), 700R4, and rearend into my 1952 3100. The original truck motor is long gone as well as the original suspension being totally shot. I need to make this a daily driver capable of long trips. Any suggestions on what else I should pull from the camaro to transplant such as brake booster, seats? Any pitfalls to watch out for in transplanting a modern drivetrain? Thanks for any suggestion and yes I will be putting up the original stuff up for sale/grabs when I can for those guys in need restoring their trucks. Thanks ZB3

As far as the drivetrain ,take the underhood harness ,the ecm ,aldl port and all of the sensors. You might can use the fuel tank as it has the pump in it, and you could save the fuel lines and fittings. The seats are up to you and the look you are wanting.Save the driveshaft as you might need the ends or the whole thing for your project.Alot of the 4x4 guys are using the TBI'S so there is alot of info on the web. I am using a 95 Chevy truck donor that has the electronic transmission ,it makes it much more difficult than yours.

You may find that rear axle is too wide for your 52. If so, you can always get one from a 74-81 model camaro. Keep the space saver spare tire as it may be useful at some point also.
