I'm sure this has been asked before, but are 7.00 x 17 tires still being produced (looking for knobby/off road for NAPCO)? I've found 7.5 x 17 and 7.00 x 16 but no 7.00 x 17. Will any of these fit on my 7.00 x 17 rims?

Thanks in advance for any info or advice.

A 7.50 will fit your wheels with no problems, Coker tire has a good selection of Bias Ply truck tires (https://www.cokertire.com/tires/styles/military-and-truck.html?p=9) If you want a better ride you may want yo look at going to a radial tire.

Thank you, that's what I was thinking, but wanted to make sure.

I agree that a 7.50-17 should fit your rim but you should also confirm with the recommend rim width for your chosen tire.
Your rim is not 7” wide, it has that wide a tire on it now. The rim is more like 5” or so, measure inside the bead seat to find out.

Ok, thanks for the additional info.
On my '46 1.5 ton, I tried to run a more readily available wider tire/rim on the rear and the tires rubbed frame, I had to shim the tires out with a steel spacer I machined. That truck is mostly driven around the farm and on very short low speed trips. This truck I plan on using much more, so I want to make sure I get new & correct tires on it.
