Well once again everything I touch I have to touch 3 times to fix it.. lol. Now I need a gas gauge. Application is a 66 c20 cab. I was hoping some one would have some where to order quality parts besides LMC. All their parts are from Thailand. Any other suggestion would be a big help??

I actually got 1 yesterday from Classic Parts. Installed last nite, And it really worked. lol. It was 10 bucs cheaper than Ecklers. The last time I delt with Ecklers I got a set of door stops for a 51 Chevy car. Installed, opened and closed door twice and broke it. China junk. I guess its all junk from somewhere besides here. Some is better than others tho..

Ecklers has the worst return policy of any retailer I have ever seen. I would NEVER buy from them. Their policy is very tricky. There is NO outright statement that products are warranted against workmanship, etc that I could find. They also have the longest written legal statements ever written by a simple aftermarket old truck parts dealer. They have covered every possible subject to protect themselves from the vicious enemy, us. They are usually higher priced than most other vendors. I don't know of any product they have that can't be purchased elsewhere.

Most of the parts we all use are off shore manufactured. Not enough demand for more than one factory. Wherever it may be. So most parts are made by the same factory and packaged differently by our vendors. All vendors will have faulty parts from time to time. They can't help that. They have only one supplier. BUT they can make it right. Those are the vendors I choose.
Some things are sourced by our vendors in the USA, so they will be different from one place to another. Wiring, some rubber and a few others.

In my opinion Ecklers is not customer friendly, at least on their website. The only real comment about returns is "contact our customer service". NOTHING in writing compared to other vendors. They have a return chart showing how many days to return but if you read below it's highly restricted and says unused in original package and anything else will be a decision by them. NOT my kind of company. Won't get any of my money.

Classic Parts = Best catalogs and website. Very poor technical and customer support. Not all parts work for the year truck listed (listed by their vendors, I've learned,)

LMC = Great technical support and people, Poor website and catalog is ok. Customer support for returns (not had to test yet)

Summit Racing = Great all around, but may have to spend a little more time finding you part in the vast list of options. Many transactions with hot-rod and original parts.

StoveBolt Parts Wanted forum = Awesome all around!!

Ebay = Great for hunting for OEM parts...can take a while, but worth the hunt.
