Who likes SunPro gauges specifically their Temp gauge. I don't...have one that just up and quit working. Truck was bought with aftermarket SunPro gauges, oil pressure, Amp and temp. Dash mounted. Not by choice. The sensing bulb is located in the thermostat neck just above the stat. No evidence of a break in line headscratch Has been working for the past year. ZERO needle movement...period.
I suppose its off to the local parts house.

I have used a SunPro oil pressure gauge for the last 10 years and no issues so far.

Remove the sensing bulb from the engine and immerse it in a pan of hot (or boiling) water. If the gauge doesn't respond, you've probably got a pinhole leak in the capillary tube somewhere. That type of gauge isn't repairable without some pretty sophisticated equipment to refill and seal the sensing bulb.
