The 235 is a 1954 model. I see two differences moving forward. It appears the pulleys are narrower than mine on the 216. I will be using the generator off of my 216 which has the wider pulley. Can the pulley on the generator be changed to the narrower pulley? What is my best plan of attack? Thanks JS

Make sure the harmonic balancer matches the belt size. 5/8" I believe.

Just be sure all the pulleys match, whichever way you choose to go. I'd suggest using the wide belt components and adapting the center-bolt valve cover to fit the 235 to make the engine bay look closer to original. Jerry
