Ok another bridge to cross. I have a 66 c20 cab that is now on a 63 GMC 2500 chassis. Cab had mechanical clutch linkage, chassis hydraulic. I drilled hole in firewall to accept dual purpose clutch/brake master. I have the rod for the clutch to use that was with the chassis. But the clutch pedal pivot is way to long. Not to mention, is "keyed" to only fit one way, My question is, What do I need to make this work properly? Pics attached....
Well today at a show that is a way cool yearly event called , The Steeltown Shakedown. Awesome attendance today. Maybe the biggest yet. Google it. Its actually held at the Cary Furnace which is an old closed down steelmill. Anyhow, I found a truck with a hydraulic clutch set up. And he let me climb under the dash quit a few times to figure out what the difference is. The bracket is way shorter and clocked at a different angle as suspected. If anyone has one to part with, PM me. If I dont find 1 sometime, I guess ill have to fab it up. Pics attached...
Ha got exactly what I needed off ebay for $65. In fact the whole ball of wax. It was really a lucky find to say the least. I didn't think I was gonna to find the right setup any time soon. To boot, fab up time would of exceeded the price.
