I was thinking of swapping in an 1157 socket and then buying the 6 volt 1157 led. Will this work? They were more dim than the original bulbs.

You will have to get a heavier duty flasher or the turn signal will not work. Must use load Resistor item 34205 (need 2) or item 34235 when used with 6 volt LED lights. Go to LMC online catalog they have conversion led lights that fit in stock mounts. Lights

I was thinking maybe the regular flasher may work because I am leaving the incandescent bulbs in the front they seem fairly bright with the frosted glass. Probably be a bit of trial and error to get it figured out. I just ordered some led bulbs that tclederman suggested, it will be about a week before I get them. LED lights don't have the resistance needed for a stock turn signal flasher. | | |
