Go slow and steady so you don't mar the steering wheel.

So I used a brush on my Dremel with some chrome polish (and some time) & cleaned off all the rust & corrosion. The chrome still looks pitted but it's shiny & I think it looks better than the $50 new button - which I returned. FYI
