I had a 66 GMC. It originally came with an inline 6. It also sported an LS6 454, a 400, a 350, a 305 and now a built 350. They all pretty much "bolt in", other than exhaust when going from the 6 or 454 to the SBC.

By chance does anyone know where I might find a driver side rear fender?

I was fortunate enough, not to have to try to find body parts, when we moved down to this area. So, I don't have any sure fire places for you. However, I would sure think that you could find one at a wrecking yard, that specializes in vintage vehicles. Or, you can contact Joe Mendola "Mothertrucker". He is down in Tucson. He has about everything, parts related to AD trucks. His email is: mothertruckeraz@aol.com Those would be the two directions I would take, if I were you. Hope that it helps you out.

We are spread out pretty far from each other but also close enough that a day trip or a weekend getaway is possible. I travel across I10 and looking forward to exploring more north. If I happen to be in your neck of the woods/desert, I’ll reach out to ya and see if ya would be interested in a cup of joe and or a bite to eat.

I've been so close or had folks so close but not made the time to even make a grip n grin too many time.
I was in Sierra Vista the monday before thanksgiving for a day and a half. I'd like to move down there, but the altitude is too much for my wife. (she wants to move closer to sea level)
