Hi bolters,

I saw this gorgeous 1940s? or earlier GMC stovebolt in Marietta, Georgia back on June 15th, a Saturday near the old part of town... a block or so from the square in a parking lot.

Took a few not so great cell phone pics, but this was one sharp ride.

Was wondering if maybe it belonged to one of you folks?

Happy stoveboltin',

-Woog

Your comment about "not so great cell phone pics" caught my attention. When I first looked at them, I thought they were in black and white with a light blue filter, but then I saw the yellow stripes on the parking lot and the one car which was not white, black or some shade of gray, it dawned on me how absolutely boring the cars of today have become.
It made me sad.

insurance companies rates, fuel mileage regs, emissions regs, everyone is designing inside the same box, hard to stand out with modern vehicle design really.

Really gorgeous truck tho', figured maybe they are one of us.
