Here's what I know: 1) I have blue spark at points. 2) The coil has been tested and is functioning properly. 3) Wires are good and conduct electricity to plugs. 4) Rotor and cap have been replaced - twice. 5) Points gap is set at .022 6) Spark plugs are gapped at .035 7) Nice blue spark on plug when I connect #1 wire to the coil, ground the plug and open the points.I
All the individual components seem to work but when I put it all together - nothing.
Only thing I haven't tried is a new condenser on the distributor. That's next.
I'm running out of ideas!
Any help out there? Jon

Did you test the coil wire. Some of the early resistance wires were just in the coil wire. They failed often. I don't think it would be the cond. if you have spark when you open the points. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Sometimes the metal tab on the rotor just needs to be bent up slightly to make good contact with the cap. Good luck!
