I’m going to be replacing the intake (to offenhauser and need to plumb water heat) and exhaust manifold (Williams) soon and a power steering upgrade when kit arrives.
I got a belly (sadly the reason for power steering as I need a smaller wheel) which adds to challenge of reaching in over vendors.
Background for question done:
Q1: For those who have did manifold replacement w/ engine in, did you remove front clip?
Q2: if You didn’t, did you wish you did?
Q3: if you did, do you wish you didn’t
Note: I plan on leaving hood on.
I know I should just wait to do all at once
Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated

If you cannot reach the manifold bolts leaning over the fenders then you do need to remove the fenders if you are already standing on a stool.

I have bad knees & shoulder. I usually jack the back end of the truck up high to help reach things under the hood.
