I have the trans dropped in my truck currently to replace the ring gear. It's a 69 C60 with an dana 5756-B 5 speed with a 427. There was 2 hot spots on the flywheel and the clutch has seen better days so I went ahead and had the flywheel resurfaced, they took .005" off and I have a .005" shim for it. Obviously it's not the correct one. Where is a go to place for clutches for these trucks? The only ones I've found is $900 and that seems a bit much this one https://fortwayneclutch.com/product/...sku-mu1266_kt/ What options do I have with the current one? Is $900 a good deal? I just want to be able to turn the key and start the engine for the first time since I've owned the truck already!!! Any help is appreciated.

I used the dimensions of the clutch diameter, spline count and diameter, and Borg & Beck type pressure plate and was able to match it. Mine is not a big block and 12 years older than yours but you should be able to find a clutch to fit.

Any local truck repair place should be able to steer you to a local source. Like buckshot said above, get the disc diameter, the spline count and dimensions, lever style or diaphragm pressure plate and the height of the clutch arms/diaphragm fingers. I would bring all the parts along when shopping. A big auto parts store could likely fix you up too.

Hy Pvmt-Pndr, my F.L.A.P.S. can provide a complete 13" clutch kit in either diaphragm or Borg and Beck four lever style for $575.00 Canadian, so you should be able to find a clutch kit for that amount or probably less in American funds, hope that helps.

American Power Brake and Clutch in Dallas resurfaced the flywheel, rebuilt the PP, and relined the clutch plate for my 1941 Ross forklift For about $300 (8 years ago). New parts were impossible to find for a machine that was used by the military in WW2.

It turns out the clutch that I have hasn't been made in 30 years or so. Something about the 4 bolt pattern. None the less I found a place in Detroit called Detroit clutch masters who said they can rebuild it for me. I shipped it this morning. A rough estimate of around $200. The clutch I'm sure has quite a bit of life left in it but I do not want to have a reason to pull the trans again if I don't have to. It wasn't a bad job to be honest but since I had the flywheel resurfaced I may as well have the clutch gone through also. Do it once and do it right and roughly $200 vs $900 for the link I posted I'm not going to complain.
