Its time to change the oil and might eliminate the filter since the damage is done and will look into the correct lines before installing the replacement 235. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 1,518 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 1,518 | In the filter canister it self, not the lines. If you dont have a restriction, you are better off without any filter and pipe plugging for obvious oil starvation issues.

A pegged gauge might not be a good sign? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 1,377 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 1,377 | Using the original 30# gauge with a engine that should produce much more. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 1,377 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 1,377 | Looks like I found the problem and its the oil filter, oil pressure goes up more quickly and now 15 to 20 at idle where is was 5 to 10 before. Unfortunately the damage is done so time to get the new 235 read to drop in as I doubt it will last until fall so I know I will have a summer project. | | |
