9 windows in my '52 3100...

The cab does not include the doors (windows) - 47-53
Cab windows are installed in the “cab-body”.
3 windows are standard, and 5 windows are optional.
Of course, that explanation does not work in 54/55st - they would have 2-window or 4-window cabs?
If you count all windows, they would be: 5 window, 6 window, 7 window, 8 window, or 9 window? (47-55st)

Without the two corners it would then be a three window. Of course, that is assuming that there is any logic to it at all!

I am currently digging back in to a 1953 3800 (one ton) with a nine foot bed. I've owned it since 1979, and drove it until 1982 (or so). My wife got me involved in restoring it back in 2002, got the body removed and the frame redone, then things came up. Now I am retired and starting again. If anyone is interested I have photos on Imagur ( https://timwhiteblues.imgur.com/ ). I live way back in the woods in the Ozarks on 40 acres at the end of a 2 1/2 mile private road. Tim

Windshield -- 2
Wing windows -- 2
Roll-up door windows -- 2
Corner Windows -- 2
Rear Window -- 1
Total of 9
But windshield and wing windows typically aren't counted when we talk about 3 window versus 5 window. So a cab without corner windows would be a 3-window, and one with corner windows would be a 5-window.
