Switched over to a dual master, 10 lbs residual check valve to front and back, and new wheel cylinders at all 4 corners. Now the problem is at the rear only half the wheel cylinders are working. I’ve bleed the entire system twice and still only actuate on one side only. Any ideas? Finish putting the brakes together, adjust the shoes properly, and drive on.

Then the wheel with the weakest shoe return springs will be the only one to move. The fluid takes the path of least resistance. Putting the drums on gives the shoes on both sides essentially the same resistance as soon as they contact the drums. Like Jerry said, put the drums on, adjust the brakes and go.

With the drums installed and the adjustment done, neither shoe will be able to travel more than a few thousandths of an inch without one of the linings contacting the drum. Then the other one will move into contact and the stopping will begin. There won't be more than a fraction of a second's difference in the application of both shoes- - - -not enough to measure with any sort of accuracy.
