Keep in mind, I'm not building a show car. So I threw a bunch of steel at it for strength and not looks. It's not like the factory was concerned with looks neither. As long as my outer panel fit and finish was correct, Divers side was minimal, passenger, a little more extensive. I have to stop mid-job and turn it in to my daily driver as the wife's car is at the dealer for warranty work, my '98 C3500 becomes her daily driver, I and get the Burb!
Give me a day or two and I can get you some bracket drawings as I have two off and the other two are coming off today.
MNSMITH, thanks for the response. I was reading your build series and scammed some of your pics for reference. Thank You! I'm building a driver also. No frills just want to get it done. Your pictures have helped a lot and we are making good progress so far. I just hope the fenders fit when we are done!!! Really appreciate the help especially on the brackets. We made one from an original and now I just need the outer / short ones for the splash shield.

Hi Mark, I was trying to make a template from your drawing and I'm missing some dimensions. I need the height of the 5/16 holes from the plate edge on the lower drawing and some outline dimensions on the top drawing. The hole dimensions are good on the top drawing just the distances on the side heights / angles and the top with the dip area length. Sorry for the hassle but I need to transfer the outline to the metal so I need actual size of the pieces. It would be great if it's possible to just make a tracing that's life size and I could print that. Nothing easy right! The pictures help me see the actual bend and position so thanks for posting them also.
UPDATE - Thanks Mark for all the help. I have found a source for the brackets so I won't trouble you for the dimensions. I'll use the ones I ordered for a template to make good usable ones. Can't thank you enough though for all the help getting me past this issue.
