I have seen many 48/53 Trucks with **** factory MII crossmembers. Can anyone give me advice on tricks, specs, measurements or whatever on this install. I have installed Heidt's MII in my 34 **** but would like to save $400 and use a **** one I have. Thanks.

Ron-I've got an article in Truckin' Magazine May 1982 edition which details this install. It may well give you the insight you need to proceed with this project. E-mail me your snail mail address and I'll take a photocopy and send it your way.

Yeah. Wannabe,
You sent me the same article and as of today I'm wrecking out 77/78 Bobcat for the front and rear end, and anything else I can use. May get the 41 in the garage before winter.
Thanks

HI RON
I HAVE JUST INSTALED AN M--- 11 FRONT END IN MY 53 3/4 TON AND WOULD RECOMEND YOU INVEST IN A FATMAN FABRICATIONS CROSS MEMBER KIT. IT IS TOP QUALITY AND SAVES LOADS ON BANDAIDS.
YOU CAN HANG ALL THE STOCK M--- 11 STUFF FROM IT.
HOPE THIS HELP'S GOOD LUCK
