So as some of you know I got my new Spartan 100 last Tuesday. And I have had a wonderful week with it. I'm loving it more every day.

BUT I posted a picture of it last weekend and someone has been bugging me to buy it. He is talking about throwing in a Barrett (I'm guessing either M82 or M107) to sweeten the deal. I really like this truck but at what point am I being unreasonable? I don't want to lose it but its honestly not really worth that much is it? I've been hunting for one for like 12 years, I have barely had it a week and now I have to think about getting rid of it...

I'm just looking for some encouragement to keep it, this is starting to sound more and more tempting.

You are the only one that knows your situation. Unless you are desperate for money, you should keep it. It is hard to find just what you are looking for. These trucks are great fun & good therapy. It doesn't have to be a show piece. Just the patina makes it draw attention & makes you proud of it. I vote keep it. Let that guy hunt for 12 years to get his own.

Life's to short, if you're not totally committed to this truck then move on, otherwise tell the guy it's not for sale.

Everything in life doesn't have to be about money...

If he wants it bad enough he'll wait for you to change your mind, so you got lots of time to think about it.

I just re-read the thread about your first car show with that truck. I think you need to keep it.

If it is what you want and you don't need the money, then don't sell it..
Some of my vehicles are priceless because they aren't for sale, and no amount of money will change that.
Don't let someone pressure you into it if you don't want to sell it.
Just my thoughts.

You can always sell it later - for MORE. But once it's sold you have no options.

KEEP IT. Sellers remorse is a real thing for sure. Only sell if you have to or dont love it. 12 years is a long time.... I have 51 Chevy 2dr sdn that is MY car and always will be. A friend recently came into some money and was starting a conversation about offering me top dollar for it. We never got to the price because it didn't matter what he said, i aint selling it. never the less he was alitta bent at the end of the conversation because i wasn't even interested in hearing his offer. It may take some time to get to this point about your veh but dont sell it b4 you know... Food for thought.....
