Yes, I’ve tried to read the forums first, with no luck
59 gauge cluster needs removal. I’ve unscrewed everything but oil sensor
When I pull on the cluster it only moves about 1/2 inch then clearly stops with a thud. Reaching in behind, it feels like the bezel has a lip all the way around and feeling with one hand, while pulling with the other, I can feel the lip bottom out on the opening.
Am I missing something? It’s not a wire or Speedo causing resistance, this is clearly a metal on metal thud, like the back edge of the bezel is too big for the opening.

I can’t get it out.
Any help?
Thanks

It is catching on the inner edge of the dash board. I don't remember exactly but it seem like I pried down on it & bent the edge of the dash down a little.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

Yep it doesn't come out easily, you have to turn your head at an angle with mouth open and tonque hanging out the side of your mouth. Then make some funny noises and say a few non technical words and it will come out.
