I have been looking for one for some time now, but it seemed they were made of gold by the price they were wanting. I happened upon one yesterday that was within a short drive and picked it up. I am excited that I will once again be able to take care of my own tire swaps. A buddy of mine had a 10-10 years ago which is the machine I learned on, but this one is definitely a step up.

| | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 | We picked up a barely used 30-30 machine from a motorcycle shop that went to a "touchless" machine for fancy wheels. Gave $150 for it and stuck it in a corner as I figured it wouldn't be used much. I was wrong. The guys have made up all sorts of custom wheel mounts ranging from go-kart to really big fork lift wheels. The air tube for blowing tires out to the rim has died and the extended center post and bead breaker arm are way over taxed on some wheels but it just keeps chugging along.

Just charge it up with compressed air, aim the flattened pipe at the tire bead, and open the ball valve- - - -just be sure to wear your earmuffs. That thing is LOUD! Sure beats using a big squirt of starting fluid and a match to seat the beads on big truck tires!
