How was the vacuum advance "plumbing" routed on a 1946/47 217 engine routed - where was the fitting for the intake/carburetor vacuum source?

Photos would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hope this answers your question. There is a clamp holding the line to the top/side of the thermostat housing.
The vacuum line connects into the backside of the carb base.

Thanks Harold.

Is the vacuum fitting on the carburetor pressed into the carburetor, or screwed into a threaded hole in the carburetor/base?

Thanks

Harold,
The idle mixture screw is located right about this line, correct?

It is a threaded connection on the W-1 carb. You can see this connection in this photo.
