I guess, I should’ve clarified. The 54/55 have a large bow tie and another in the center, I guess you could say, it’s a double bow tie.
I’ve actually seen some more like this on EBay, none of them are new though. I’m actually thinking they are aftermarket. My next dilemma, is finding rims that they fit. The seller says they are 10.5 OD, which is different than anything I have laying around.
The stock/standard 1954 1/2 ton truck’s hubcaps were painted Thistle Gray The same gray as on the inner surfaces of the middle and bottom grill bar (on the painted grill).
There is a blue bow-tie in the center of the hub cap; and, inside the blue bow-tie is a gray bow-tie.
The blue bow-tie is recessed into the cap, and, the gray bow-tie has a raised/embossed border.
WhiteDog, These appear to be the same hubcaps that I took from a 1970 Camaro and put them on my 1952 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup. I used 15 inch rims from a 1965 Chevy pickup and the hubcaps worked perfectly. I'm attaching a picture of my pickup with the rims and hubcaps on our pickup. Chuck thanks for that pic. I really like the look of these hubcaps vs. what came on my 54. Since I’m going the resto-rod route they may just be what I’m looking for.
Thanks Tim, I thought the thistle gray was all gone after Korea and stainless was back in- in 54. I always have liked the 54 caps, the blue in the center really pops. Steve

Looks like they've already been decoded- but I have these same caps on my '46, which is running newer model 15 inch wheels from a 1980's Chevrolet car. My caps are from a '71 Nova. Love 'em- they have an original style look to the general public, and I get to run cheap junkyard wheels.
I liked them so much I talked my bud into buying a set for Sam the '52, the old truck I sold him. Smart of me, because Sam's fixing to come back to me- one less item I have to buy for him. :-)
