My current truck is a 1957 Chevrolet 1/2 ton SB, 350/350. This vehicle needs no work but recently I was approached by a guy with a ‘54 5 window, SB with the four speed. The body is unrestored and in excellent shape. This is a none running truck but very original. The worst part is the rear end is toast and it has the fender mounted spare. Never liked those. I posted on the HiPo forum about some mods before I buy it like newer transmission, taller gears, and better brakes etc. etc. is that the best forum here to use?
