Both had old grease which was hard and very sticky. have cleanded them up but was wondering what might be best to go back with. thanks for any suggestion you might have.

It can be messy, but you shouldn't need to replace the glass (and get into the mess) as often as the fleet trucks and off road equipment I used to work on. They look like rollers, but they do not roll. If your leathers are beat up, a slick trick is to use the aftermarket rollers.
