Some cutting here, welding there, grinding everywhere and the driver side is swinging fully. It opens smooth and closes perfect. Window even opens. Further, there was no need to cut any of the door post off as was described in the
"Truck Builder (November/December 2002 issue)" suicide door install.

No chop top for now - maybe if and when I do a stock floor body drop and bags.

I can open my doors backwards and won't need a handle to do so!  Same advantage as shaving the emblems, shaving the dash, making a frame, using seats from a F$%^, a rear end from a Nova, front from some fabrication company, Boyd wheels, and painting the whole thing bright [censored] orange! It's called custom. And it suits our needs perfectly. - Ryan

We doing the interior the same as the outside, except that I will be doing a console, door panels, headliner. Probably a similar tweed as to what is in the El Camino interior. Gray carpet.
