While doing a farm cleanup I found a Evans Mfg. 6 volt heater in a grainery. Data plate shows Evans Mfg Co. Detroit Michigan, 6 volt, model #206475. It looks to be in good condition. Can anyone tell me if it's used on Chevy/GMC's? So far I only have one picture of it sitting on a couple of buckets, more later. Thanks in advance JP

It's not genuine GM, it's after market and could have been installed in almost anything...

If one is thinking of using it, core should be replaced with modern if 12 lb. or so pressure cap is used. Most motors are easily replaced.

I don't plan on using it. Thought someone else might need it. But if it's just a universal heater, it's not worth the trouble. Thanks JP
