51 5 Window 3100 'Bolter 5 Joined: Jan 2017 Posts: 308 EL PRADO NM	Both are 12 volt--should the 49 have a dimmer switch for the 2 gauge clusters, like the 51? Don't know if dimmer was standard in 1949. Thanks for your excellent assistance..Bill Last edited by 49 3100; 11/16/2018 12:18 AM.

My light switch appears like it might turn to adjust the gauge lights, but it doesn't work very well. I have to fiddle with it to just get the gauge lights on sometimes. I'm guessing after 70 years the rheostat is a little worn out. Greg Brown

Radio Shack used to sell a product. Maybe someone will post info on a readily available cleaner? '54 GMC 630 w/ 503 gasser, 5 speed, ex fire truck, shortened WB 4', install 8' bed. '55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.
