Does anyone know how to seperate a 39 hood? I just put penetrating oil in the hinges to help it along but not sure how to take apart

The hood halves slide apart at the hinge.

The " side flaps " have a center pin type hinge which you can drive out with enough penetrating oil. The center hinge is an interlocking design with 1/2 sliding inside the other 1/2. Unbolt the hinge from the hood shells and soak it in penetrating oil, then tap one end - should come apart.
