Moe Stone -- A good friend, erstwhile member of the ODSS and just a plain ole good guy in every respect.

Moe's 1959 GMC 860

We sure are going to miss him.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

Billy Marlow came down for the funeral and the procession to the gravesite and interment. We had a nice procession of antique trucks, including Moe's GMC 860, Billy's '46 COE and my '49 3804. And it was a gorgeous late Summer day. A good send off for a brother who passed on far too soon.

Moe was a great guy and someone I called a true friend. His 1959 GMC 860 is still one of my favorite trucks of all time. It was his truck that inspired me to find and build one too. We live in the same state but about 2 hours apart and I was very touched by the way he reached out to me during my build and offered advice or took pictures of varies parts of his truck and would email them to me to help me along. That meant a lot to me. My truck is just about done and am so bummed I didn't get to show him the finished product.
Thank you Moe. You will be missed.
