hello. i am looking to purchase a 1957 chevy truck, but it has the ugly dent in the drivers rear fender where the spare tire mounts.
does anyone make a filler panel to weld in its place, or would i have to change the entire fender ?
thanks much.....

Or find a donor fender that is bad is other areas and cut out what you need to rework the one you have. They do not make a patch specifically for that modification.

Find a fender like you want. Then find someone who wants a fender like you got. Some people want the side mount spare. Maybe you could swap.

I remember reading the opposite where someone wanted the spare tire dimple and the fender was cut and inverted for tire. Maybe you could invert the opposite way.

Dang it Dan, that was going to be my suggestion. grin Not sure if it will work, but it would be worth a try.
Personally I like the side mount spare look on my truck but that is me.

I don't believe you can invert the dimple on a Task Force truck. I've heard of guys doing it on an AD, but I don't think it will work on a TF.
Look here and you'll see what I mean.
You're better of getting another fender and sell yours to someone who wants it.
