Engine is set to go to the machine shop for a complete rebuild! If I remember correctly, the truck engines were grey, passenger engines were blue and all V8’s were orange, correct?
Planning on using the OER Classic Engine Paint K89115 med grey from Classic Industries.
Anyone know where I can possibly find a good original picture of a painted truck engine to stay correct to how it came from the factory painted? Thanks in advance!

maybe looking at some of the engines in this series of shots will help. the V8s are orange, and there are plenty of blue 6's. Don't see any grey engines. There are a few pics with trucks on the assembly line.
