Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 114 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 114 | I had to install a hydraulic throwout bearing for my 58 (76 350 SBC0 2 ton truck, but since I installed it, it keeps chewing up my bleeder hose. The problem stems from the fact that they attached the bearing to the body, not the ram, so when I push on the pedal, the hoses are shoved into the clutch, damaging them.
I am looking for a stationary body Throwout bearing that can fit a stock clutch affair. Any one here know of a good one? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,888 Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) | | Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,888 |

You might want to give JEGS' technical department a call to see which clutches that one will accommodate, or maybe they can suggest an alternative. I used to do a lot of business with them when we ran a round track car- - - -not so much recently. Jerry
