The BC Bolters lost a good friend last weekend after his battle with cancer. Boyd Wylie will be sorely missed at all the get togethers. You could always count on Boyd and his wife Sue to brighten up any gathering. I have included a link to pics of Boyd and Sue and their truck, and the mini-me truck. There is going to be a big void at next years picnic. We were so lucky to have one last visit with him at the picnic in July. Who would have known we could lose him so quickly?

Boyd was active in the AD truck group(s) on Facebook, which is where I've seen him most, having never met him in person. His knowledge and wit are already missed there.
Deepest sympathies to Sue and the family... Boyd was an amazing guy and as Paul points out, I am so glad we had the chance to spend time with he and Sue at one more BBQ... I'm also glad we were able to get up to the hospital to support him near the end... he fought so bravely and was such a strong guy... it's so sad to know he's gone
Sue (Boyd's wife) has contacted me and asked me to pass this along... it has already been posted on the BC Bolter page but for those of you who don't follow that I felt it was worth posting here as well...
There will be a Celebration Of Life for Boyd, on Saturday, August 18, 2019 which is the one year anniversary of his passing.
It will be held at the Newlands Golf Club - Langley, 11:00 am until 3:00 pm
Sue made the following request to all who wish to attend too:
"If you come please wear bright clothing or even better a Hawaiian or car shirt like Boyd wore all the time"
I hope to see everyone there to honor Boyd... I seldom get here anymore because I no longer have an old truck but promised Sue I would spread the word!
