The linkage arm for the clutch pedal rod is bent and cracked for my step van. The arm was bent in a S shape to reach directly over to the clutch rod. I'm not sure if the arm was bent and rigged that way or if another linkage rod was used in conjunction originally. I can find no pics or diagram of COE type setups for 1958 trucks/step vans, let alone a replacement arm. Does anyone know of the correct setup for these or have a pic or parts source? Thanks.
I found a replacement but the rod is too far from the clutch linkage arm. I saw a diagram with a rod hook in between the arm and off set rod. I'm wondering if mine was missing it the whole time. I'm not sure if it's that or a longer rod or fork is needed. Does anyone know if the hook was included on all these clutches or if the arm should attach directly to the clutch rod?
